Ed and LeeAnn Hebb reside in Wilmot, N.S. with their two haflingers, Maritime Mighty Dandy (Dandy) and Twinview Weibels No#1 (Marty).
- In 2004 we purchased our first haflinger (Dandy) from Harry and Janet Trimper of Torbrook, N.S. At 10 months we started his ground work with a leather halter, rubber bit and rope reins. He was willing and learned quickly.
At the age of 3 years, Dandy was introduced to the wagon with one of Bruce Swiminer’s haflingers. He learned quickly and enjoyed his work outs.
Dandy-3years-Attended his first show in Windsor, line class and did well and also showed in the wagon. That is Dandy on the right.
In 2009 we purchased Marty from Keith and Gladys Hodgins, Kincardine, Ontario, and they delivered him to us. As you can see, Dandy was ready and happy to have a buddy.
This was the first time the boys were hooked together and ground driven.
Marty and his friend Emily practicing poles and cones. They had great fun learning together.
The boys are out for a little exercise in the snow and a bit of a refresher.
Marty and Dandy out for a walk, beautiful spring day, everything going well.
Marty and Dandy, Back from a trip with the wagon. Nice day and all went well.
Marty and Dandy in their paddock during the winter, having a little tug of war over a pilon. We are constantly introducing new things to them. They learn to play with them and accept new things quite readily.
